Our department Human Genetics includes cytogenetics, FISH analysis, molecular genetics, next-generation sequencing (NGS) and molecular pathology. Even very rare hereditary or congenital diseases can be diagnosed by fine tuned step diagnostics.
The department Toxicology can detect more than 500 substances, drugs and their metabolites. For some of them our laboratory is the only analysis facility in Germany. Constantly new analyses are being established.
Reliable oncological diagnosis is ensured by close interdisciplinary cooperation of all laboratory departments in our house. The spectrum ranges from tumor markers, through determination of genetic cancer risks to differential diagnosis of hemato-oncological diseases.
